URGENT: Patient Level Recall of One Batch of Epipen 300mcg Pre-filled Pens

Dear Pharmacist,

Please see attached communications, regarding a patient level recall of one batch of Epipen 300mcg, batch 5FA665G. Please carefully follow the instructions to recall affected packs of this batch currently in your pharmacy as well as affected packs dispensed to patients.

The date of first distribution of the affected batch in Ireland is 14th July 2016. 

Recall letters, information for patients and press communications are being issued today to the HPRA website. Hard copy recall letters will follow by post, in the coming days, to those pharmacies which have received the product since 14th July 2016.
