Just when we though our admin work could not possibly get any more complicated the regulations came out requiring us to keep all pharmacy-only meds out of the reach of the public, i.e. behind the counter.
HPRA have now at least been nice enough to produce a "handy" 559-page pharmacy-only medicines list for you to keep an eye on daily - yes apparently it will change daily. Thanks HPRA!
PCRS will be informing all pharmacies over the next 7 days (either on 20th March 2018 or 27th March 2018) that they must now use the new High-Tech hub for ordering of IVF High-Tech medicines.

ABOUT HIGH-TECH HUB
The High-Tech drugs scheme is administered by the HSE through the Primary Care Reimbursement Service (PCRS).
Due to the severe weather in recent days the HSE PCRS has slightly relaxed their requirement for receipt of paperwork for early payment, however they would still like to receive the electronic claims my midnight tonight, 5th March 2018. They will allow rare exceptions to this requirements, but only if they receive the electronic claim by midnight tomorrow.
